Kent Farmers Market Popup: Design and Dig!

That morning, I woke up feeling so nervous because this was my last popup at the market and I had to make it count! The goal was to connect with as many people as possible even if they didn’t have any kids with them. I wanted everyone to be able to share this to whoever they know that has littles at home looking for something to do in Kent. We brought back our non-toxic magic craft noodles that everyone enjoyed from the previous market day. Some kids spent enough time in our booth to create the most intricate sculpture by just using their own imagination.

We also took our time to remind everyone that it was the last day to sign up for our Mini Portrait Session Giveaway! It was another way of showing our gratitude to families that have become our newsletter subscribers and farmers market regular visitors the past three months. As a photographer, even I forget to take photos of myself with my own family that’s why I know the importance of being able to bring people together in a photo to have that picture serve as a long-lasting memory for years to come.

Our popup at the market may be over for now but we’ve got more exciting news to share with you ahead. Laro Tayo’s popup Play & Craft booth at Kent Farmers Market just wouldn’t be successful without the help of our family and friends that helped reach out to visitors, play with their kids, and just lending us a the bench where parents can relax with a drink while the kids create something new.
